Mrs. Mary E. Dickerson widow of George W. Dickerson died Tuesday morning at 4 o'clock at her home 200 West Market Street. She had been ill several weeks with a complication of diseases. Born Jan 18, 1866 on a farm south of Linden, the daughter of Michael and Catherine Coyle, she was united in marriage with Goerge W. Dickerson Dec 26, 1882. Mrs. Dickerson was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and been a life resident of Montgomery county. Surviving are four sons, George and Frank of this city, John of Muncie, and Lewis of South Bend, 3 daughters, Mrs. Cleve Smedley of South Bend, Mrs. WE Lucas of LaPorte and mrs. Archie Carver of Miami, FL; 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The body was taken to the Hunt & Son Funeral Home and later was removed to the family residence where it will be kept preceding the rites. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at st. Bernard's Catholic Church with burial at Oak Hill cemetery. The Rev. JC Keating pastor of St. Bernard's will officiate.
